Earn and Learn

This Term, we are excited to be taking part in the Woolworths Earn & Learn program.

You can help our school by collecting Woolworths Earn & Learn Points. Just collect Woolworths Earn & Learn Points when you shop at Woolworths between Wednesday 1st May and Tuesday 25th June 2019. We will redeem these for awesome educational resources for our school. Simply pop them onto a Woolworths Earn & Learn Sticker Sheet and once it is completed, just bring it back to school.

The more we collect, the more equipment we can get for our school. There are thousands of products available through the Woolworths Earn & Learn program, and we would like to get lots of new gear! Products in the range include resources for mathematics, English, science, art & crafts, through to sports gear, library supplies and more.

WOW!! Week 5 already, half way through term 2! Arabic language secondary students have been very busy learning across the different topics (School & Studying, Grammar, Ramadan, Good Manners and Habits) we’ve been learning so many new words and grammar rolls throughout the topics. We have different levels of readers within our classes so we will run reading period once a week to help the weak one and improve the strong reader.

It was my great pleasure meeting with many parents during parent teachers’ interview in week 2.

The school hosted “Ali Gator Ramadan Book Fair” in our library during week 3. Arabic department is very pleased that our students enjoyed our Ramadan book fair and bought Ramadan decoration, books, board games, puzzles and many things.

I would like to thank our students, parents, school and all my colleagues for all the help and support, our department got 20% of the sale towards Arabic resources. Ramadan Mubarak everyone.
